Snowmobile for days and never travel the same trail
Maine has an incredible network of groomed and marked snowmobile trails that cover over 14,000 miles of the state. Of these miles, only 4,000 are on the Interconnected Trails System (ITS). Many of these trails cross private lands, made possible through cooperation between The Maine Snowmobile Association, local snowmobile clubs and private landowners. The state of Maine also allows snowmobiling in many state parks and public reserved lands. When snowmobiling in Maine, include a trip through a nearby state park or public reserved land in your travels. You have 40 different locations to choose from!
