• 1 Maine Moose Permit Lottery Opens
• 5-8 Maine Eclipse Festival Weekend
  • Houlton, Presque Isle, Caribou, Island Falls, Limestone
  • Each town has events, food, music, star parks, and more
• 5-8 Shadow of the Sun Festival
  • Various locations, Rangeley Lake region
• 6 49th Annual Passagassawakeag River Race
  • Passagassawakeag Stream, Savage Road, Waldo. (at the Littlefield farm as in the past)
  • Packet pickup 8:30-10, race starts 11 am.
• 8 Total Solar Eclipse over some parts of Maine
• 8 Katahdin Region Solar Eclipse Event
  • Various events and locations
  • East Millinocket, Island Falls, Medway, Millinocket, Patten, Shin Pond, & Mt Chase
• 8 Sugarloaf SkiClipse
  • Sugarloaf Mountain
• 13 6th Annual Eliot Lamb Memorial Souadabscook Stream Race
  • Vafiades Landing for all courses, Hampden
  • Registration at 9:30, race begins at noon
• 14 Marsh Stream Downriver Race
  • Rte 139; the intersection of Stream Rd & Dam Rd, Rt 139, Winterport 
  • Registration 10am, meeting at 11:30, race starts at noon
• 19-21 State of Maine Sportsman’s Show
  • Augusta Civic Center
• 20 Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race
  • Start in town of Kenduskeag, end at confluence of the Penobscot River in downtown Bangor
  • Races start at 10am
• 21 West Gardiner Rod and Gun Club Fishing Flea Market
  • 300 Collins Mills Rd, West Gardiner
  • 9-3, free admission, snacks and drinks available, bring cash
• 26-28 Rocky Mountain Terrain Park Mud Runs, Carthage- Diehards 14
• 27 Youth Spring Wild Turkey Hunting Day
• 29 Spring Wild Turkey Hunting Begins
