My kids and I visited the Rachel Carson Salt Pond Preserve today and had a blast! The kids had fun exploring the salt pond as the tide went out, and were lucky enough to find a baby lobster! If you have never visited the salt pond, I highly recommend it. The deepest part of the large pond is approximately 2.5 feet deep. Bring some sunscreen, sandals or crocs, wear shorts or hike up your pantlegs and have fun exploring! (Make sure you go at low tide!)
