Chamberlain Lake Public Reserved Land

Untamed Mainer’s view of Chamberlain Lake (notice Mt. Katahdin in the distance) at the start of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway adventure.

Out in the middle of nowhere

Chamberlain Lake is only accessible by water trails or dirt logging roads.  This remote beauty of this region attracts paddlers, hikers and an abundance of wildlife.  It’s definitely worth the trip to take in this remote beauty.  Many paddlers begin their Allagash Wilderness Waterway journey at Chamberlain Lake.
