40 miles north of Farmington

Bigelow Preserve Public Reserved Land encompasses 36,000 acres including the entire Bigelow Range.  The range has seven summits, the highest being West Beak, at 4,150 feet in elevation.  The preserve has over 20 miles of designated snowmobiling and cross country skiing trails.  Open year round.
