Bible Point encompasses 27 acres near the south end of Mattawamkeak Lake. In 1878, Teddy Roosevelt began visiting the area with Bill Sewall, lifelong friend and guide. It was here that he camped, hunted, fished, and enjoyed the wonder and beauty of the area.
