Where to go Snow Tubing in Maine

Wondering where to go snow tubing in Maine this winter? Look no further! Here is a list of mountains that offer snow tubing for 2024. I’ve included rates and hours when available, although some locations don’t make snow so it’s always best to call ahead. Note that some locations have height restrictions. Pineland Farms is included at the end of the list because they offer several winter activities and a free sledding hill. Bradbury Mountain is also at the end of the list because, in the past, L.L. Bean has offered free snow tubing (they provided the tubes), although there hasn’t been any mention of whether they will continue the event this year.

What to Wear

Now that you know where to go snow tubing in Maine it’s time to get everyone together and head out! Dressing in layers with polyester as your base layer is highly recommended. Polyester is wicking, dries fast, and won’t make you cold if you sweat. Water-resistant outer layers, especially gloves, are best for snow tubing. Heavy snow boots and thick wool socks work best to keep your feet warm, and you can always bring along some hand and toe warmers just in case!
